Kamala Harris speaking on front of Joe Biden

Inside the Radicalism of Kamala Harris

Joe Biden recently chose California Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate for the 2020 election. Since then, word about Kamala’s radical views has spread like wildfire with some analysts even placing her to the left of ‘Democratic Socialist’ Bernie Sanders.

Biden will be 78 in November, making him the oldest president in American history if he somehow takes the White House. That is significant because Kamala Harris could be one tragedy away from the presidency, making her possibly the most important vice-presidential nominee in American history.

If Kamala Harris becomes president, we can expect her to govern in a similar manner to the way she governed in the Senate. Kamala was one of most partisan politicians in Washington, joining bipartisan bills less often than any other Senate Democrat at only 15% of the time, according to GovTrack.us.

Here is where Kamala Harris and Joe Biden stand on six of the nation’s major issues.

Gun Control

Kamala Harris has never seen a gun control bill she didn’t like. While running for president, she promised gun control by executive order if Congress did not pass radical legislation within her first 100 days as president. On the debate stage last fall, Biden was quoted dissenting against the constitutionality of Harris’s proposition, suggesting that it can’t legally be done in such a dictatorial way.

“Upon being elected, I will give the United States Congress 100 days to get their act together and have the courage to pass reasonable gun safety laws. And if they fail to do it, then I will take executive action.” – Kamala Harris

Kamala and Biden both publicly support a mandatory gun buy back (confiscation) of over 10 million legally owned AR-15s. Joe Biden has even stated that Beto O’Rourke, the former presidential candidate who notoriously said, “hell yes we are going to take your AR-15”, would be the next gun czar of Biden’s Administration.

“I support a mandatory buyback program.” – Kamala Harris

On his campaign website, Joe Biden offers a whole slew of despotic gun control measures including red flag laws, opening gun manufacturers up to liability, banning “high capacity” magazines (which a California court recently ruled is unconstitutional) creating a national gun registry, mandatory buy backs (confiscation) of assault weapons, regulating how many guns law-abiding Americans can buy each month, universal background checks, longer waiting periods, banning all online sales of guns and ammo, licensing, mandating Orwellian “smart gun” technology for all future gun sales, and stopping federal funding for teachers and professors to receive the firearm training necessary to protect the lives of their students.

In an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Biden admitted that he wants to enforce a gun buyback (confiscation) program for all “assault weapons”, a loosely defined term which some states regard as broadly as every semi-automatic firearm.

Harris and Biden both support universal background checks and a renewal of the 1994 assault weapons ban and have advocated for a repeal of a 2005 law called the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act, which prevents victims of gun violence from suing gun manufacturers or retailers. Harris also supports a background check requirement for anyone selling more than 5 guns per year and “for any gun dealer that breaks the law, the ATF [will] take their license.”

The liberal twosome publicly supports just about every authoritarian gun control measure in the books, just short of repealing the second amendment and banning citizens from owning guns altogether.

Abortion

Over the past few years, Democrats have become as radical as it gets in regard to abortion. Biden has said that he supports abortion “under any circumstance” and neither of the two hopefuls have recently advocated for any restrictions at all on the practice at all.

Harris cosponsored the Women’s Health Protection Act, which seeks to override state law against abortions during the third trimester if the “continuation of the pregnancy would pose a risk to the pregnant woman’s life or health.”

Pro-abortion legislation is notorious for its clever wording which allows women to end the life of their child under almost any circumstance as long as the pregnancy is deemed to put their “health” at risk. This type of vague phrasing allows women, even after the child is viable and fully formed, to legally kill their baby with no legal consequence if it causes her stress or another mental health issue.

Candidate Harris stated during a Town Hall that if elected, her Department of Justice (DOJ) would use preclearance to block state laws which restrict or regulate abortions. Biden gave no response to the question of preclearance in a New York Times candidate survey.

Both Biden and Harris want to repeal the Hyde Amendment, the only piece of legislation stopping the federal government from forcing taxpayers to fund life-ending abortions.

However, what may be the most frightening piece of information is that Harris voted twice against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, which would have required that doctors give the same medical care to survivors of abortion as they would to any other infant.

If elected, Joe and Kamala will be the most radically pro-abortion presidential duo in American history.

Healthcare

Kamala and Joe differ somewhat in their approach to healthcare, but both endorse increased government involvement in the industry and the elimination of private health plans.

Harris was a cosponsor of Bernie Sanders’s Medicare for All bill which would have completely eliminated private health insurance except for elective cosmetic surgeries. The plan would have cost taxpayers an estimated $1.4 Trillion per year. She also cosponsored the Choose Medicare Act, the Medicare at 50 Act, and the State Public Option Act.

In January 2019, Kamala stated that she wants to get rid of private insurance entirely but has constantly shifted her position ever since, despite clearly supporting legislation which would have done just that.

Harris and Biden are both in favor of giving free health care to illegal immigrants, payed for by American taxpayers.

Joe supports an expansion of Obamacare by adding a Medicare-like ‘public option,’ but not getting rid of private insurance entirely. He also stated in New Hampshire last year that he is “against anybody who wants to do away with [Obamacare] and start over.” During a different speech he said, “I don’t know why we’d get rid of what in fact was working and move to something totally new.”

Joe Biden also supports contraception and abortion as taxpayer-funded aspects of his public healthcare plan.

Climate Change

Kamala Harris was a cosponsor of the senate version of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC)’s radical Green New Deal which would cost as much as $93 Trillion, ban air travel, and destroy over 3 million American jobs in oil, natural gas, and coal industries. She also cosponsored the Climate Equality Act with AOC which would tie race and gender politics into environmental policy by instituting an Office of Climate and Environmental Justice Accountability.

While Harris has described a $10 Trillion climate change plan to eliminate carbon emissions by 2045. Joe Biden supports spending $1.7 Trillion to curb global warming over a period of 10 years. He asserts that the U.S. will have net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 if we stick to emissions reduction targets, federal cleanup investment, and regulations on farmers.

Immigration

Kamala Harris published an immigration plan in June of 2019 which would expand Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) via executive order to anyone brought to the US before age 18 and grant the parents of anchor babies deferred action, shielding over 6 million illegal immigrants from deportation.

Biden’s ideal immigration plan would grant citizenship to 11 million illegals currently residing in the United States, expand sanctuary zones, limit the abilities of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents to deport violent criminals, reverse President Trump’s travel bans, and set the cap for refugees at 125,000 per year, the highest it has been since the 1990’s.

Granting citizenship to millions of illegals would solidify the radical Democrat’s stranglehold over the United States for years to come.

It goes without saying that both politicians support tearing down Trump’s southern border wall.

Criminal Justice

Kamala Harris was incredibly pro-police and pro-punishment until the current election cycle when she completely changed her tune amid leftist anti-cop riots. During her reign as Attorney General of California, Harris used her power to legislate that parents be thrown in jail when their kids were late for school too often.

In addition to supporting the banning of all plastic straws and using government power to lessen American meat consumption, she also mocked the idea that we should “build more schools and less jails,” telling the crowd that we need serious punishment for crimes.

Finally, Kamala Harris used her power as Attorney General to lock up non-violent drug offenders as described in the debates by Representative Tulsi Gabbard. Although she now claims to support cannabis legalization, she has a long record of locking up non-violent offenders and changing her position based on what is politically expedient for her at the time.
